Hi, welcome to my website. My name is Elis Casado. I play the keyboards and like jazz, funk, late 60's and early 70's rock. I am also fond of classic movies (up to the seventies), including their soundtracks. My favorite keyboard instruments are the piano, Hammond and Rhodes. I usually play in trio or quartet formats in the club scene in the Basque Country.
My second solo album Crab In The Lamp has just been released. An album with seven tracks (43 minutes) recorded in two studio live sessions in May and July 2010 at Groove Studios in Bilbao; and mastered at Chi-Squared Studio in Palm Desert, California. The lineup for this album is Miguel Ramírez (electric guitar), Rik Bernabé (electric and double bass), Montxi Rodríguez (drums) and me on the keys.

I love music and sound, and always insist on having a gentle minimum compression in the mastering process of my records, so that the listener can enjoy a wide range of dynamics and doesn’t get tired at the second listening. I don’t want to take part in this crazy Loudness War.
My albums' can be downloaded in mp3 format from ‘Amazon’, ‘Itunes’, 'Payplay', 'Tradebit' ... But if you really care about sound and music, you should buy the CDs. They sound much better than those compressed formats.
