If you like over-compressed radio friendly mushy sound with a lot of volume my albums might not be your cup of tea. On my records both sound and mastering engineers are told to work for dynamics; and they are delighted to do so.

If you like good HI-FI sound with dynamics and a touch of seventies jazz, funk, rock, you will probably enjoy my albums. Power and loudness can grab our initial attention; but a record which is relentlessly loud becomes boring very fast, and produces ear fatigue. Sadly, today’s music is too compressed to transmit the joy of wide dynamic range.
